This year's UACES conference looks at "Views from France, Views beyond the mainstream" and will include plenary sessions, research panels and opportunities for networking in the social programme. Vivien Schmidt (Boston University) will give the JCMS Annual Review Lecture. The round table session will focus on non-mainstream perspectives of European studies - speakers will include Sabine Sauregger (Grenoble), Allan Williams (London Metropolitan) and Ian Manners (Danish Institute for International Studies). The social programme will include receptions, the conference dinner at the Chateau de Brissac and post conference visits to the Langlois-Chateau winery in Saumur or tour and tasting of Cointreau.
