Professor Trevor Salmon, Director of Teaching & Learning at the University of Aberdeen will chair the event. Judges include Mr James Temple-Smithson- Head of the European Parliament Office in Edinburgh, Councillor Kate Dean and Mr Iain Todd- Renewables Champion at AREG. The aim of the event is to encourage debate on topics that will help & encourage pupil understanding of various important European issues and how they impact on the lives of citizens throughout the European Union.
Schools taking part in the event are-Aberdeen Grammar School, St Margarets, Hazlehead Academy, Robert Gordon's College, Banchory Academy,Portlethen Academy, Mearns Academy and Mackie Academy.
