Committee Highlights

MEPs return to Brussels on Monday 1 February, where much of the week will be spent in political group meetings preparing the next plenary session in Strasbourg.

 

Highlights in committee meetings include:

 

  • Hearing of Kristalina Georgieva, Bulgarian Commissioner-designate for humanitarian aid and crisis response (Development Committee - Wednesday)

 

  • Security of gas supply - 1st reading Regulation - discussion of tabled amendments (Industry Committee - Thursday)

 

  • Yiorgos Ioannidis - visiting fellow at Cambridge Uni - gives evidence on impact of the crisis on SMEs (Economic Crisis Committee - Monday)
