The aim of the European Parliament Office in Scotland 2011 Calendar Competition is to find a picture that would be used to illustrate one month in a European Parliament 2011 calendar.  The theme for 2011 is 'Me and Europe'.  Pupils might like to think about: what does Europe mean to me? Which countries in Europe have I visited and what have I seen in these countries?  What does Scotland look like in Europe?

The European Parliament Office in Scotland and Scottish Sports Association are hosting a seminar on 'The Impact of the EU and the Lisbon Treaty on Sport in Scotland' to inform Scottish sports organisations about recent developments in EU sports policy, and in particular what may change as a result of the Lisbon Treaty.

An expert panel will speak at the event, comprising:
