EU Waste Directive

The Council of Ministers has now adopted a Common Position which has yet to be published in the Official Journal.

Parliament's Environment Committee formally takes note of the Common Position at its meeting on 28 January 2008 and will draft its Second Reading position in the coming weeks. Expected Second Reading vote in plenary May 2008.
