Tax transparency and Ukraine - this week in the European Parliament

MEPs return to Brussels on 23rd March for a mixed week of Committee meetings and plenary on Wednesday 25th March. The plenary is when Members of the European Parliament from all political groups and from all countries meet in the parliamentary chamber to discuss and vote on legislation.

Highlights

Ukraine. MEPs will vote on whether Ukraine should be granted £1,29 billion, the biggest grant of financial help that the EU has ever made to a non-EU country. (Wednesday)

Tax transparency. Members will debate the Tax Transparency Package to tackle corporate tax avoidance and harmful tax competition.  (Wednesday)
