Vera comes from the west of Ireland. She has been working in the London office of the European Parliament since 1998. Before that she worked in Brussels where she was an assistant in the Press & Information Division as well as in the Inter-parliamentary Delegations Division. She started her career at the Irish Embassy in Paris. Her main areas of responsibility are in running our citizenship education projects and providing information
about Euroscola in the UK, which is a pan-European educational event
bringing together about 500 students from all over the European Union
for a day in Strasbourg discussing aspects of European integration.
