Gerassimos (known also as Makis) comes from the beautiful Greek island of Cephalonia. He studied accounting in Greece and spend several years working in the Sahara in international engineering and construction before moving to the European Parliament in Luxembourg and then to the London Office.

While working in publications and events, he managed to attend a course at London Metropolitan University and obtained a MA in Politics & European Studies. He, also, holds an MA in Political Communications, from the City University in London.

Apart from his ordinary tasks, he recently engaged with outreach activities, giving talks to students about the European Parliament and the EU in general.
